R&P was elated to serve another Birthday Soirée for Mr. K. this weekend. My staff & I had a great time preparing their menu in their beautiful kitchen, amongst their lovely children, family & staff. Unfortunately I didn’t get as many photos, because once the service gloves go on, my photography takes a backseat. But please trust: everything turned out absolutely beautiful! Thank you Mrs. K for inviting us back!

‘ Rosemary & Pepper ‘ March 20, 2022:

A few weeks ago I was birthing this name for my private catering business. Per usual, I take my idea and bring it to my private group and begin the process of creation. For me, I need to see things live and in action. My private groups have served me well with this spark.
I began listing names for this service - as I wanted the name to capture the intimacy of eating. Really I desire to create an experience. I not only cook, I create ceremony. So I kept trying to feel for a name that would capture that vision and feeling. Others kindly offered their suggestions and played with me~ which just fuels my creativity more.
But when it wasn’t landing for me just yet- I decided to go at it with a different angle. I enjoy names that are unique. So I began thinking about what tools, spices and ingredients I cherish the most:

Immediately- ‘Rosemary & Pepper’ came out my mouth. And I began to tingle immensely and got totally turned on- yes my love, that’s it!

I quickly googled to see if it was already taken- and I found a florist, but wasn’t local- and that wasn’t specific in my realm of services for clashing with ‘competition’

“Spiritually, black pepper activates the third eye and helps open your mind to the spiritual realm. The oil also encourages emotional strength during challenging times and can help relieve negative emotions. Black pepper energizes and clears energy blocks. The oil is especially useful for the third chakra to promote healthy personal power, self worth, courage, stamina, and self control. In ayurvedic aromatherapy, black pepper is pungent and hot. It decreases Kapha and Vata and increases Pitta slightly. Black pepper oil is often used to relieve both physical and emotional coldness. It is mentally stimulating and can help the mind focus on everyday tasks and get things done. The black peppercorn is considered to have protective properties, and may be carried on the person or infused into purifying washes for the home.”

Black pepper is a spice that I have loved dearly since a young girl. Literally, I’ll take a a sprinkle of food with my pepper please! Nothing like fresh ground cracked pepper. It excites me SO much. The way pepper compliments certain dishes is a chefs kiss 💋

And then there’s Rosemary. My darling Rosemary. My absolute favorite herb to grow. To smell. To touch. To taste. To bless my home and weave through my apothecary & ceremonial treasures. Rosemary has a deep & special place in my heart.

These two components have had such an impact in our life, historically speaking. I encourage you to dabble in some research.

So there ya have it! A little story on ‘Rosemary & Pepper’ and the intimacy that lives through its name. Every time I see it, and say it- I smile with such joy and gratitude.

I desire my services to create intimacy, pleasure, connection, friendship, wellness and so much more! Each of them with different backgrounds, training and expertise. These are the type of energies that are going to elevate R&P.

Beltane Ritual // May Day

In the soft embrace of spring’s sweet breath,
As blossoms awaken from winter’s death,
We gather in spirit, with hearts full and bright,
To honor Beltane, in the dance of the night.

With firelight flickering, flames leap and sway,
As we stir the pot for the feast of the day.
Herbs kissed by sunlight, fresh shoots of green,
Join in our cooking, where joy can be seen.

The table adorned with blooms vibrant and rare,
A tapestry woven with love in the air.
We share stories and laughter, each soul intertwined,
In the magic of gathering, our spirits aligned.

With every sweet morsel, a blessing we share,
