Had to run by the local Gnome Depot for some fairy magic supplies. Crafting a couple of custom items for an upcoming show, and just having a wander through the aisles of whatsit, widgets, and dohickies is good for spurring the creativity.

Myrddin Emrys, Immortal of Many Names. Farewell to Sam Neill, a fantastic Merlin, amongst all his many roles.

As an act of remembrance, this means I must finally replicate the pocket-patchwork-jean-jacket-cloak-of-feathers-tuigen I've wanted ever since I saw him in it. So many pockets to hide wrenches, wands, doo-dads, whatsits, and the occasional raptor claw in case a teaching opportunity comes along.

I'll remember you best showing us around Two Paddocks and introducing us to your critters. Peaceful journeys.

Upcoming wedding? Remember that your Maid of Honor is responsible for (politely) managing unexpected fairy guests. "Seelie" folk don't mind being seated near humans, but "unseelie" fairies tend to get grumpy and cause mischief if unfairly treated. A quick test by a qualified technician during a bachelorette party is the best time to find out if your Maid of Honor is up to the task of sorting them (rather than risking it at the wedding).
