The one thing I appreciate about planning events is that some of the most meaningful work happens before the celebration ever begins.

It's taking the time to prepare, thinking through the details, and making adjustments before they become problems.

Most of those moments will never be seen by our clients, and that's perfectly fine with me. My goal has never been for people to notice how much work went into an event.

My goal is for them to enjoy the moment, spend time with the people they love, and leave with memories they'll always treasure.

When that happens, I know we've done our job well.💜

One thing I am learning in this season of business is that growth and comfort rarely exist in the same place.

There have been many moments recently where I had to push past my own nervousness and show up anyway.

Whether it was attending networking events, introducing myself to new people, or speaking about Designer Occasions by Rose in professional spaces, every experience required a level of confidence I am still growing into.

But I am learning that confidence is not always something you begin with.

Sometimes confidence is developed by continuing to show up before you fully feel ready.

And somewhere between the nerves, the conversations, and the new connections, I realized that I was no longer shrinking myself the way I used to.

I was growing.

Not only as a business owner, but as a woman becoming more comfortable taking up space, using her voice, and walking fully in her purpose.

And for that, I am grateful, and blessed.

Over these past several months, one thing I have truly learned is that growth will make you uncomfortable before it makes you confident.

As the founder of Designer Occasions by Rose, I have always been more comfortable behind the scenes. I love planning, organizing, coordinating details, and making sure everything flows the way it should.

But recently, I have found myself stepping into rooms that require more visibility, more conversation, and more confidence.

There have been networking events where I felt nervous before speaking.

Moments where I doubted myself before walking through the door.
Moments where I reminded myself that I could not grow if I stayed hidden.

So, I kept showing up.

And with every event, conversation, and connection, I felt myself growing into a stronger woman, leader, and business owner.

This journey is teaching me that building a business is not only about creating beautiful experiences for others.

It is also about becoming the person capable of leading them with confidence, purpose, and grace.
