Multiple Positions Available | Daily Service + Catering Team

Montana Outlaw BBQ is growing, and we’re looking for hardworking people ready to join a fast-paced BBQ crew that takes pride in doing things the right way. We’re currently hiring for both our daily restaurant service team and our catering/event crew.

This isn’t microwave food and standing around. We cook real wood-fired BBQ, serve a whole lot of people, and work hard while doing it. If you’re dependable, move with urgency, and take pride in your work, we want to hear from you.

POSITION 1 — DAILY SERVICE TEAM
Restaurant Counter • Kitchen • Prep • Food Runner

Our daily service crew keeps the line moving and the food coming out right. This position is perfect for someone who works well under pressure, enjoys team environments, and can handle busy lunch rushes with a good attitude.

Responsibilities:
Taking customer orders
Running food and helping guests
Food prep and kitchen support
Keeping stations stocked and clean
Working as part of a fast-moving BBQ team
What We’re Looking For:
Dependable and on time
Positive attitude
Ability to move with urgency
Team player mentality
Restaurant or kitchen experience is a bonus, but not required
Schedule:

Wednesday – Friday
11:30 AM – 5:00 PM
(Some prep hours may vary)

POSITION 2 — CATERING & EVENT CREW
Catering Setup • Service • Event Support

Our catering team handles everything from weddings and corporate events to large private parties. This position is ideal for someone who likes variety, can work independently, and takes pride in creating a great experience for guests.

Responsibilities:
Catering setup and breakdown
Food transport and service
Assisting with large event ex*****on
Maintaining professionalism on-site
Supporting pit and prep operations when needed
What We’re Looking For:
Strong work ethic
Ability to lift and move equipment
Reliable transportation
Weekend availability
Professional attitude with customers and event guests
Schedule:

Flexible hours based on catering bookings
Weekend availability preferred

🔥 WE’RE GROWING – WE WANT YOU TO BBQ WITH US!! 🔥

Montana Outlaw BBQ is looking for someone who wants to get their hands dirty and learn the BBQ business the right way.

This isn’t a “stand around and watch” kind of job — you’ll be in it.

💪 What you’ll be doing:
• Food prep
• Pit work (fire, meat, timing — the real deal)
• Catering setup and service
• Cleaning and keeping the shop tight

⏰ Hours:
20–40 hours per week
Days and daily hours can vary depending on the weekly schedule and workload, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends as needed — we will do our best to keep hours consistent when possible

💰 Pay:
DOE (depends on experience)
Tips are pooled and shared equally

⚠️ This is for someone who:
• Shows up on time
• Works hard without being told twice
• Is a strong team player
• Can adapt and jump between tasks when needed
• Handles a fast-paced, sometimes high-stress environment
• Wants to learn a trade, not just punch a clock
• Carries themselves with professionalism when dealing with team members and clients — you represent our brand. We’re not a franchise, we’re part of this community, and we expect our crew to treat every interaction in a way that reflects well on all of us

💥 Physical requirements:
• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all kinds of weather
• Can stay on your feet for long stretches

UPDATED POST TO INCLUDE INTERIOR PICTURES!!

We have decided it's time to downsize our competition rig. We are listing our 2017 Intech Porch trailer for sale. $28,000 for trailer. $35,000 if you would like it with the Outlaw Smoker with it. The Outlaw BBQ Smokers is a 2860 Front that was added around 2021. The inside is finished with custom cabinets, a 3-bay wash sink, and a hand-washing station.
