Many of you may not know what got me into photography. It was taking pictures of my friends and my husband riding their dirt bikes. What started as me tagging along to the track and trails with a little camera in my hand slowly grew into something that completely changed my life.
Back then, I had no idea that those dusty, sun-soaked evenings would lead me here. I’m running a full photography business, capturing weddings, newborns, families, and the biggest moments in people’s lives. I just knew I loved freezing moments in time… the feeling of adrenaline, joy, and freedom that radiates when someone is doing what they love.
I remember standing there watching Zach and his buddies hit jumps and throw roost, the golden Montana sun dipping behind the horizon, thinking, “I want to capture this forever.” I didn’t have the best equipment, or really any idea what I was doing but I had passion. And that passion grew into a fire that I never expected would turn into my career, my calling, and my way of connecting with so many incredible people.
Photography has brought me so much more than I could have ever imagined. Lifelong friendships, emotional stories, and the chance to witness love in all its forms. It’s given me purpose, especially on days when life felt heavy or chaotic. Behind my camera is where I’ve always found peace.
Sometimes I look back at those early days with dirt bikes, sunsets, dust clouds, and laughter and I can’t help but smile. Because that’s where it all began. And now, all these years later, I still get that same rush every time I pick up my camera. Whether it’s a kid doing a wheelie against a gorgeous sunset or a family holding their newborn baby for the first time, it’s all about freezing those moments that mean the most.
To every single person who’s trusted me to capture your memories… thank you. You’ve allowed me to live my dream and do what I love every single day. I’m so beyond grateful for how far this journey has brought me and even more excited for what’s still to come.
