✨ J E W L Z ✨
One if my favorite parts of my job is meet and greets with the brides. This is the time I get the honor and privilege of hearing the little girl deep inside her speak of all her hopes dreams and plans she has made for her wedding day her whole life. It's always special but my meet and greet with Jewlz was so much sweeter. We talked as if we were old friends catching up. As if I had already known her hopes and dreams. I left thinking we could be friends. Fast forward to the wedding day. After dropping off bouquets, decorating the ceremony site, and pinning on boutonnieres I encountered the groom and so many of this couples friends and family and heard the ceremony from a distance so I could transfer flowers. Let's just say I caught on quickly how sweet, loving, and encouraging this couple is and why I though we could be friends. There aren't very many jobs that you encounter an individual, their family, friends, and stories and walk away thinking "we could be friends". It truly is an honor to have worked with this sweet Bride Behind this Bouquet. Jewlz truly is a gem! ✨

Something I love about this business is it constantly pushes me to grow. I can learn new things and new ways. I can get to meet and work with some of the most beautiful people! I constantly feel like I am growing.

As I reflect on the weddings and bouquets (not featured) that launched my business part of me sigh in disappointment but most of me smiles at the fact that I made something so pretty with little technic.

This summer I had the most amazing opportunity to learn so much from at the . I grew in knowledge, technic, productivity, confidence, professionalism and new friendships.

Every bit of me delights in the faith, passion, hard work, time, talent, beautiful mess and growth it took to create this bouquet, this season, and this business. That is exactly what is Behind the Bouquet.

~CONTRAST~
One of my favorite things about being a wedding florist is contrasting colors, shapes, and textures. This wedding was so near and dear to my heart for so many reasons I will save the sappy for a different post. But had to tell you about this groom in particular wanting gun shells for boutonniere holders. I just love the contrast of soft and delicate vs rigid and shinny. Isn't that what life give us to remind us we are truly alive?

This beautiful bride behind this bouquet is the most peaceful bride I have ever worked with! She was so confident in what she wanted and confident in me that whatever I produced was going to be awesome. The day of the wedding she continued to carry peace through the business of the day! I can't thank .amico_nicole and enough for being my first paid wedding, first out of state wedding and being the most laid back wedding of all times!! Happy anniversary you two! Beyond blessed by your trust in me and special day! Pray that peace followed you into your first year of marriage and the rest of your years!!

It was a hot July summer day but it was beautiful in every single way.

So if you're here and we haven't met yet! It's nice to meet you. My name is Amy and I am the owner of Behind the Bouquet. I hope to meet you in person some day and hear your story. Hear your heart. And hear your vision. These are three very important ingredients in life that I believe we can all learn and grow from each other.
Anyway I wanted to tell you all, if you're still reading, what the Lord has been teaching me and how a flower crown plays a very big part. As you may know I believe in Jesus and strive to walk closely with Him. Part of walking closely with Him is releasing what we know or how we live to be more like Him. I have been privileged to sit at a lot of "tables". Tables being relationships, leadership roles, jobs, this growing business etc. And each time I sat at those tables I felt as if I had to earn my seat at the table. Even though I was already seated there. I was always working for the role I never had to earn. I was simply trusted and given by the Lord. As this became more and more of a struggle in my life the Lord sweetly met me in the midst of this wrestling with a beautiful vision. I was wearing a hard hat with dirt on my face and He whispered ever so gently saying "No you don't wear hard hats, you wear a crown." Then placed a beautiful flower crown on my head. More beautiful then this one in the picture. Words can even explain. But the point is every "table" I sit at I am honored to have been invited for no other reason then being the daughter of the Most High King. I will strive to no longer to earn the seat but to receive it with honor, leaning closely to Lord and His voice. If I am privileged enough to sit at a table with you I hope you feel heard, valued, and honored just as I feel being seated at The Table the Lord has invited me to.

LIFE IS MORE BEAUTIFUL WITH COLOR. .
I hope to soon live in a world that believes that statement to the core. .
This arrangement just came to life all because I saw these stunning peonies at the store and couldn’t resist. Everything else is from my garden or potted plants. I love the deep red in the dragons breath that just accentuates the pink in the peonies. Can’t wait to see how full they open up to be. Their soon to be yellow centers will then be highlighted by the tint of yellow in the willow branches. @ Billings, Montana
