What an incredible opportunity for this second Encore DC Fashion Show to have received the support of Hervé Pierre, the French stylist and designer based in New York City, who has dressed the last four American First Ladies, as well as countless stars including Lady Gaga.🤩

Herve Pierre entrusted us with prototypes of his stunning haute couture gowns, allowing us to stay true to a fully sustainable runway. ✨🌍

What a beautiful encounter with not only a highly talented artist, but also someone incredibly approachable, full of humor, and remarkably generous.

We can’t wait to see where this collaboration will lead next 🔥

This means all donations are now tax-deductible: a major step that will help us grow our impact and continue celebrating resilience, dignity, and sustainability through fashion.

Look at how beautiful Nadia from the Planet Aid Thrift Store looked when attending the 2nd Sustainable Fashion show, which featured veterans from the U.S., France, and Ukraine. The sustainable fashion show took place at Martin's Tavern in Georgetown, Washington, D.C.

The incredible night of secondhand fashion featured clothing from Planet Aid Thrift Store. Nadia represented us well.

Hervé Pierre, the renowned French designer behind iconic fashions for four U.S. First Ladies — Hillary Clinton, Laura Bush, Michelle Obama, and Melania Trump — has generously offered prototypes of his creations for our upcoming show.

What an honor to collaborate with someone so talented, passionate, and visionary.

In 1995, Hervé moved to the U.S. and brought his artistry to fashion houses like Oscar de la Renta, Vera Wang, and Bill Blass. He currently serves as the Creative Director at Carolina Herrera.
