Hey all!
I’ve realized I haven’t done an intro post in a long time & we’ve got some newbies on here- so here goes!
▪️My name is Kim and I am a local photographer/artist here in
▪️I’ve been doing photography since I can remember - starting with disposable cameras on family vacations and times with friends in middle/high school. Officially I began shooting as a business 20 years ago now!
▪️I live with my hubby and 3 kiddos on a hobby farm just outside city limits. We raise and and live a fun life of adventure and chaos - you can follow my farm journey
▪️A lifetime ago, I was a teacher to 4th and 5th graders and now use my passion of connection with people behind my lens and helping to capture families as they grow and change
▪️I have a Bachelors degree in Education from UNC in Greeley, CO and a Masters in Education from Grand Canyon Univ. - now using that education to teach my kiddos as we homeschool
▪️I’m one of those “plant people”. I think gardening has become a way of therapy for me - though maybe not a cheaper route if you ask my husband (but plants are so worth it, always)
▪️We have 3 cats (Milo, Marzipan, and Muffin) and one dog (Millie French Fry) who bring us so much joy. In another life I could see myself running an animal rescue
▪️Flowers will forever be my favorite gift - - Only made better by a white chocolate mocha latte included
▪️Favorite flower? Gosh - probably the Peony followed closely by Lisianthus
▪️I love a good playlist of T.Swift, Noah Kahan, Benson Boone, and Alice Merton while I edit or garden -- or listen to the "We Can Do Hard Things" Podcast
▪️ I'm officially in my 40s now and feel more at home in my body and spirit than maybe I ever have
▪️Photography has always been my “release”, my little passion I could have just for "me." It's a chance for me to artistically express myself and how I see the world and the lovely people and things in it
