her hands trembling as she buttons the dress. his eyes watering before he even sees her. a dad holding back tears he swore he wouldnā€™t cry. the blur of sweaty friends dancing too hard, vows scrawled on wrinkled paper, the ugly cries that canā€™t be hidden.

the best moments arenā€™t staged, they just happen. I donā€™t care if the shot is perfect. I care if itā€™s real.

thatā€™s what i want. the raw, rowdy, ordinary-sacred moments.

marriage isnā€™t just aesthetics. itā€™s covenant. itā€™s holy. itā€™s Godā€™s design. I just get the honor of pressing record.
