Missouri Lounge Wednesday Night Open Mic

7 to 10 pm Hosted by Paul Pot. Open Mic starts around 7:00 to 7:15. All styles, mostly music. No Cover. 21 & over. No cover, drinks and bbq reasonable.

List goes out at about 7. 1 to 2 songs depending on the amount of people on the list. The Missouri Lounge Wednesday Night Open Mic was named 2014'S BEST OPEN MIC in the East Bay Express's Best in the East Bay Poll. They did not have an award in that category this year. Write the Express and let them know if you want the category back. 2016 is an election year and you should have your say. Until then we choose not to abdicate the throne and must be toppled.

Because I have a lot to do as caretaker, I don't get to do these drawings as much as I would like so they just come out whenever I can as a general reminder. Sometimes they come out on Wednesday, like today. The Out of Town Couple are holding down the fort. I hear I'm missing some very good times. Don't you miss out..

When I drew this my weather app said no rain, but now it's a 70% chance of rain. Hey, what can I say? I'm still in Florida taking care of my mom while the Out of Town Couple ably continue to hold down the open mic fort at the Missouri Lounge. Thanks to Roger and Leslie. Well here I am in Florida and The Out of Town Couple continue to hold down the fort. Thanks to Roger and Leslie. C'mon down and sing.

Kinda funny how it was Satan who basically offered the taste of the forbidden fruit of knowledge. I guess that makes Trump and his lyin' ilk worse than the devil, doesn't it? Being great again has nothing to do with doing good. Especially if you tell lies that besmirch the character of the people you kill in cold blood.

Greetings from Florida. Roger and Leslie are holding down the fort every Wednesday.

Despite the sadness over what happened in Minneapolis plus everything leading up to it (and what is still continuing to follow,) my mother and I found time to draw and watercolor pictures of some beautiful lillies that were left in a Ball jar as an anonymous gift in her driveway. Art does much to soothe a little, as will going out performing and enjoying music, not as an escape but as soul strengthening.

Here is my drawing and what I did to it to make it a flyer for the open mic.

It’s a tough time for liberty the world over as Trump and his cronies continue to hit below the belt. This older e-flyer sadly continues to ring true. There will be no open mic at the Missouri Lounge on New Year's Eve. Don't let that stop you from going, it might be the best Wednesday since last week. The open mic returns on January 7, 2026.

Even if that as***le president and our government can't be nice, it doesn't mean that you should end up with coal in your stocking. Last open mic until 2026. The bar is closing early Christmas Eve and will be full of partiers on New Years Eve. Leslie and Matt are your last hosts for 2025.
