Learn to stack, fill, and decorate your own 4” cake with beautiful spring florals, then create a seasonal arrangement with local flowers. We’ll finish by styling a dreamy tablescape to showcase your creations together 🌸🍰

Date: May 9th, Saturday / 10 am - 1 pm

Words can’t quite describe the sense of joy, wonder and awe we felt in the garden this past week at . Thank you everyone who stopped by, smelled a flower, took a photo, and learned a little bit more about the art (and their flowers!) that inspired us.

A kind of preciousness. Behind the scenes our own “Londonderry Table”, an array of precious floral jewels 一 some tended daily, some aged over the week, like the amethyst and carnelians inset on the original marble.

Have you had a chance to experience “The Artist’s Garden” at the Legion of Honor?

This immersive installation transforms the gallery into a living spring landscape, inviting visitors to step inside the botanical world that has inspired generations of artists across the Fine Arts Museums’ collection.

As the week unfolds, so does the garden. Each day, the installation is gently tended and reshaped, revealing the poetry of process and the quiet care behind the work.

There are only a few more days to experience this once-a-year celebration of art and flowers in bloom 🌷
