Happy Monday friends!!
Last week was such a fun busy week.

We were able to plant some more seedlings in the garden, start new seeds and swim at Mrs. Donna's house.

We had a little guy come home from camp and another leave for camp.

We helped a friend with a roofing project and we did lots of flowers.

The house is a mess (of course) the home garden is full of weeds (that's summer for ya) but we're getting the important things done and I hope you are too!

I just got some adorable photos back from one of our parties this week. Thank you Janelle for letting me be part of your event and sending these along. I love seeing what you all do with your blooms!!

I'd love to do flowers for you too! I do bouquets for all occasions, bloom bars, wedding and event flowers as well as sympathy pieces. I have pick up located in Benton and we deliver throughout Franklin county.

I am an absolute sucker for a good love story!

My husband and I are classic high school sweet hearts. We started dating at 16, married at 20 and have been in love every single day since. We'll celebrate 23 years this August and I wouldn't change it for the world!

You never forget your wedding day and I'd love to be a part of making your day beautiful!

You've already chosen the right man, now it's time to choose the right florist.

💐 I offer garden style designs that are organic and full of movement.

💐I service southern Illinois from Anna to Centralia and from Harrisburg to Murphysboro.

💐 I only schedule one wedding per month, so that I can give my brides my full attention.

💐 I love inspo photos! If you have a Pinterest board that is lighting you up inside, I definitely want to see it. I'll take what you give me and create florals that are unique to you!

💐I like price lists! In the floral industry, event flowers are done by customized quotes. I've tried it for a year and I hate it. I hate shopping and asking for quotes. Lots of back and forth and it's annoying. My guess is, there are brides who hate it too! I have no desire to upsell you or feel you out. I just want to create pieces that you'll love. So yes, I have a price list. If you contact me about a wedding, I'll send that to you first. Check it out, then we'll go from there.

💐 I have a low minimum spend of $485 and I currently have a maximum budget of $3000, if your vision falls within that price range I may be just the right fit for you. If it doesn't, I will refer you to florists that may be a better fit, no hard feelings!

Last week was such a blessing. I'd decided to discontinue same day delivery throughout the summer, so I could have more control over my schedule and create more free time for my family. I was concerned about how the change would be received but you guys are wonderful! You sent in your orders earlier and we were able to do several flower deliveries celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and offering comfort. We also planted and weeded in the garden and we were still able to enjoy some summer fun! Thank you so much! It means the world to us!

One sweet story, I wanted to share. My son Charles carried a bouquet to one of our recipients doors last week and the woman who answered was so kind and asked several questions and visited for a minute. When he got in the car he was all smiles, talking about how sweet she was. She'd also given him a $1 tip and it made his day. He gets paid for garden work and also earns for mowing lawns and odd jobs for friends and family, so it wasn't the monetary value that had him lit up. It was the way she saw him and valued him. As his momma, it warmed my heart watching their interaction and I'm so thankful that this little home business is giving my boys those kinds of experiences.

Are you still doing flowers?

Yes! We will have flowers all summer long and we'd love to get them out into your homes💐💐💐

But we are also doing summer ⛱️🌞⛱️ Our boys are home for summer and honestly, we don't want to miss it. Our family is unique in that we have seven children and we kind of had them in two sets. Our oldest four are all adults now but we still have three young guys that are coming up through elementary and jr. High. We know that parents only get so many summers before kids get licenses and have more exciting plans than hanging with Mom and Dad.

What does that mean for Team Tindle Gardens ? It means longer lead times and next day delivery. I know it's inconvenient and we may miss some chances to work with our clients this summer and I'm sorry about that. But same day delivery would mean sacrificing time with our kiddos and that just doesn't work for us. It also means fewer Facebook posts. During the school year, I love writing and sharing all about the garden, business, life with you all. When our boys are home asking for card games and library trips, that just has to take priority. So we are definitely here and doing the work but we won't be popping up in your feed as often.

So how can you get flowers? Send me a message or order online at least 24 hours in advance. I'm getting up early to fulfill orders and then once those are done and our garden chores for the day are finished, we're off having fun. We fit delivery times into whatever we are doing that day.

I totally understand that this is not how other flower shops work, working with us will be a little slower this summer and I totally get it if you need to work with someone else as a result. There are lots of lovely shops in our area and I'm sure one of them can fulfill same day requests but my boys only have one mom and that is my first job.

💐💐💐It's Lily Time!!

Our Lilies are starting to pop and I foresee a wave by Friday. Lilies are one of the largest and longest lasting flowers we grow here in the gardens and I'm excited to get them into your hands.

I'm running a special Flower Friday this week. One of our $65 dollar vases for only $50+t this Friday!! She stands almost three foot tall, she's filled with summer color and will last you all week long. You can also order a straight bunch of only lily stems for $25+t.

The summer has officially started here at Team Tindle Gardens .

We've already had a campfire, an overnight sleep out in the playhouse as well as trips to the ice cream stand, Taco Tuesday with friends, lots of books and bike rides.

We also made lots of progress in the garden this week. I planted zinnias, gomphrena, ageratum, coleus, Celosia, geraniums, alstromeria, pentas and Sunnies. Erik and the boys laid cardboard, mulched and unloaded lots of soil for new beds.

Our spring ephemeral harvest is going strong and lilies are just about to start popping all over the garden. Summer flowers are a bit behind because of the cool wet weather we've had this spring but it looks like heat is coming and I expect them to get going soon! I'm already looking ahead to next spring and figuring out what trays I need to order and what seeds I need to buy.

Busy and fun and constantly changing but I wouldn't have it any other way!
