Remember for a moment, how we came together as neighbors and rallied together to support our fellow Americans. It's breathtakingly painful to see where we are today in contrast to how we were when 9/11 happened. The lives of those that were lost that day mattered then and they still matter now.
Be kind on this day. Love on this day. Remember how quickly things can change on this day.... and then remember it every day.
My heart so needed this Saturday full of photography!

Hey, Y'all!!
It's been almost seven months since I announced that my doors were closing for the time being. It's 7:40 on a Saturday night in August and I'm here to announce the reopening of my photography business. Think of it as a relaunch after a short hiatus. I'm thankful that God moved me to close my "doors" because the pandemic really shifted my perspective. I took the time I needed with my family and my life got shaken up in the craziest way. I've realized what's important and I've taken stock of the things that I'm passionate about.
As of now I am taking appointments for sessions until December, when my brother in law gets married. From their wedding and through the end of the year, I'll only be taking a few appointments, so I can focus on Jason and Haley and my family for the holidays.
I look forward to seeing all my old clients, meeting new ones, and capturing new memories!
It's been a while since I've posted here. Please bear with me while I pour my heart out...
I've been doing some soul searching and praying lately. After nine years in business I'm going to say goodbye for now. I will be shutting down my page both here and on Instagram for a while. I've started going back to school to further my career in Opticianry and as sad as I'll be not to be doing my passion anymore, I'm also excited to be able to spend more time with my husband and my three babies and not feel nagging anxiety over deadlines and due dates.
There are so many weekends I've missed with my kiddos and my family has graciously moved around trips, family time, parties, and other events to work around my schedule. While being a part of other people's lives is a treasure that I won't ever take for granted, being a part of my own is a precious and important thing too.
This year is huge for my family. My best friend is having her first son (third baby)! My oldest turns 10, my middle turns four, my baby turns ONE, my husband will be 35, we'll celebrate our fifth anniversary, my favorite brother-in-love is getting married to one of the best girls ever, Lena and Delanie have birthdays and so much more..... And I want to be there. In the moment. For every bit of it.
Being a photographer is a true blessing. Being able to see spans of short seconds before they happen and then create them in real life before I ever click the shutter button is a talent that has only come from God and I am so thankful for my gift.
While I'm on my hiatus, I will still be indulging myself in my favorite artistic outlet when I feel led to by my Father. I won't let my gift go unused, but you can follow me on my personal page to see those! I love everyone who has been with me on this journey! I've loved being a part of your lives and capturing all of your precious moments! Again, this isn't goodbye forever. I'll be back. When God tells me it's my time again.
"we found love right where we are"
It's been a blessing to be on this journey with them! I cannot wait to see what comes next for this amazing couple!
