It’s been a little while since I’ve introduced myself so here it goes….

I’m Lauren, owner of The Coastal Creative Events! I am a native of Elizabeth City in Northeast North Carolina. I never imagined I’d be a Wedding Planner but COVID brought me home and I have found such a love for helping people prepare for and execute their special day!

Some of the things I offer include Full Wedding Planning, Month of Coordination, Day of Coordination, and Virtual Planning Consults.

Hi friends! I have slowly but surely made my way into the wedding and event planning industry in our corner of the NC coast and it makes my heart BURST. I have learned and grown an incredible amount with the help of mentors and friends who have given me the honor of being a part of their special day.

I am very excited to officially put myself out there and get some more weddings on my calendar for the coming year!

Here’s a little summary of what I offer:

Full Wedding Planning (only booking 2 per year)
- Help with all things vendors, contracts, scheduling, budgeting, monthly planning meetings, and running the show the weekend of the wedding so the Bride & Groom can enjoy with no worries!

Month of Planning (booking a handful per year)
- I’ll step in to meet with you weekly, help with the final details of scheduling, communicate plans with vendors and bridal party, assist with the rehearsal and day of operations!

Day of Coordinator
- If you’ve got the planning under control but need someone to be present and make sure all the pieces fall into place on the day of, this is for you!

Consulting - If you just need someone to talk with about all things vendors, contracts, schedules, budgets, etc.

Scale Drawings - I LOVE to design scale drawings of ceremony and reception spaces! Getting a birds eye view of the space definitely comes in handy when trying to decide how many people can fit in different kinds of venues or table shapes/sizes.

Decor/Design Services: center pieces, table settings, cake/dessert table, memory table, bar decor, and more!

The most rewarding “We did it!” I’ve ever felt. We didn’t hire a soul. Every ounce of this wedding was crafted with love by friends and family. At the end of the night, we could look at each other and say, “WE did it. All by ourselves.” and that felt pretty darn good.
