Our dearest, most hardworking, hilarious, fun, strong, caring, devoted, badass Husband, Dad, Uncle, Papa, Brother and friend- Pete was diagnosed with ALS.
(His battle with ALS ended 4/15/2026)
This diagnosis came after nearly a year of discomfort, loss of appetite, shortness of breath and many doctors visits. It followed six weeks at St. Charles where amazing nurses and respiratory therapists cared for him, while Specialists worked tirelessly at ruling out every possible treatable condition. Sadly, there is no other explanation - Pete had ALS.
His symptoms progressed VERY quickly. and just wanted to be surrounded by family in his last few days/weeks.
We are asking for support to help our family during this heartbreaking journey. Donations will go toward his mounting medical expenses and will help support his wife, Kinnie and son Swede to maintain needs and daughter, Karina to supplement time from work, caring for one another during this painful time. As well as any costs after life for funeral arrangements and memorials.
