Good afternoon, everyone!
I’ve been thinking about this post for a while, and I’ve got something to share that might sound a little odd, but here it goes: I always feel a bit of guilt when someone pays me for spending time with my animals. It’s like they’re somehow turning into products or money-makers. But, let’s be real—I didn’t buy them with any business in mind. They’re here because I love them and needed friends. And, honestly, they *do* help cover their own care costs, but they don’t exactly bring in a “profit” in the traditional sense.
Then it hit me: these animals bring so much joy to others, and I should share that joy. They’re here for *connection*, not for profit.
I want to make it clear that my animals are never treated like commodities. They aren’t medicated, tied down, or forced into anything. They have large pens and plenty of space to roam. (Ask my family how often they’re actually in those pens—honestly, we live in the animals' world more than they live in ours!) They get top-notch medical care and eat way healthier than most of us!
I’m also very selective about breeding. The only ones being bred are the cows, and even that’s done with a very specific purpose in mind.
I’ve noticed a lot of "fluffy cow" businesses popping up recently, and I think that’s great. It gives people options and keeps us all honest. After all, you should always have a choice in who you trust with your animals—and I strive to always be the kind of person you can trust.
Thanks for reading, and for continuing to support me and my animals!
