Meet Nimbus—the little boy with the giant ears and an even bigger heart.
Nimbus was found as a stray in East St. Louis, and we have had the privilege of fostering him for the past three weeks. In that short time, he has shown us just how smart, gentle, playful, and deeply loving he is.
He loves playing with his doggy foster sister and brother and does well with our cat. Although we do not have children, we believe his sweet and gentle nature would make him wonderful with them as well.
Nimbus loves being close to his people and is an incredibly loyal little boy. He can be a little dependent, which is understandable after being abandoned, but when he has access to his safe space—an open crate—he settles well and can occupy himself.
He understands that potty time happens outside. Because he can still become nervous when left alone in the yard, we currently go outside with him and bring him back in as soon as he is finished. If he cannot make it outside, he reliably uses a potty pad and does not go elsewhere in the house.
Nimbus would thrive in a home where he can spend plenty of time with his humans and truly be part of the family. Once he learns to walk comfortably on a leash, he will make a wonderful copilot for walks, outings, and future adventures.
He is equal parts playful puppy, devoted shadow, and professional napper—occasionally beside the bed instead of in it.
I have attached several photos so you can see his sweet face, wonderful markings, and larger-than-life ears. You will not find a more devoted little companion.
We are going to miss this sweet boy terribly, but we cannot wait to see him find the safe, loving forever home he deserves.
