I'm a HUGE lover of hosting events, planning ahead, schedules, you name it. It is the perfect combination for being able to successfully coordinate a wedding day. What I didn't understand though was how truly unavailable I was on the day of my wedding.

To know that I had people directing the vendors, keeping everyone moving on schedule, knowing where I wanted things and HOW I wanted things made it so I quite literally just needed to get married, enjoy my reception, and go home. It was an absolute dream and worth every penny. Shout out to Old Mill Farm 💕

I feel every bride should experience this for their own wedding day and truly be in the moment--not stressing out about the DJ playing the right music or the tables being set correctly, having time to eat and greet guests, or getting home and realize "oh no we never did the bouquet toss!"

We want to know! What was one of your favorite parts of your wedding day? I'll go first.

I got to watch from my bridal suite when my husbands groomsman surprised him in a wedding dress. Of course Ben thought it was me behind him and heard these super heavy steps/breathing not knowing it was one of his best friends wearing a far too tight gown. He said "all I was thinking was what on earth did they do to her?!"
