For years, Brett and I have talked about expanding La Maison Fête into retreats, creating the same experiences we love to host, just over a few days instead of a single evening.

Join us at Belden House for three days of Mahjong, wellness, culinary experiences, and time to connect.

Having enjoyed such a special relationship with Troutbeck over the years, we’re thrilled to partner with their sister property, Belden House, for our very first retreat.

Inspired by the artwork of the book’s cover, birds appeared throughout the table in thoughtful ways from hand-folded paper details to custom cookies and matchbooks. For years, we’ve loved sharing Sofie von Oertzen Williamson’s beautiful collection at La Maison Fête, and we’re thrilled to welcome her to the shop next Tuesday, June 9th at 6 PM.

Known for her fearless use of pattern, color, and collected interiors and recently featured on , Sofie will join us to discuss her new book, The Art of the Clash.

She’ll be joined by one of her clients to share the story behind a stunning New Canaan estate featured in the book, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process from concept to completion.
