I am currently a stay at home mother of two very wild little boys & am in the process of getting my degree in culinary arts, with my main focus of course, on becoming a pastry chef! I'm also a certified instructor in The Wilton Method of Cake Decorating! :) I have been cooking & baking my whole life though, as my grandmother is a professional cook & her mother was also a cook/pastry chef. I've had to (very sadly) turn down a lot of cake orders since our bar opened. I just don't have the extra time or energy... But luckily when my favorite fellow bar boss (Kelly from MVSB) reached out & asked about cupcakes, I already had time scheduled away from the bar to start on my daughter's bday cake. I'm so thankful that she thought of me & I'm just over the moon with how they turned out! That edible gold flake just makes my heart burst! 😍 Happy 60th Julie!!!

Sugar Bum's is a small dessert catering business, run by me: Chrissy. I’ve just returned to life as a stay at home mother of three very wild little boys, after working the past year at Ele’ Cake Co. in West Carrolton, Ohio. I absolutely loved everything about working there, but unfortunately, my left hand did not, & after having reconstructive surgery in November 2017, I’m just not able to keep up with the demands of working full time in a commercial bakery right now. I've also been a certified instructor in The Wilton Method of Cake Decorating for over 3 years now! :) I have been cooking & baking my whole life, as my grandmother was a professional cook & her mother was also a cook/pastry chef. I LOVE baking & I love throwing/helping with parties, so what better job is there for me than a dessert caterer?!?!?
