We’ve received so many inquiries about hosting celebrations, and we’re excited to announce that we are now booking intimate events and birthday parties for October, November and December at For the Love of Learning SETX. If you’re searching for a space that keeps little ones engaged while allowing parents to actually enjoy the moment, this is it.

Imagine a birthday party where children are fully immersed in creative, hands-on play, while you relax knowing everything is safe, thoughtfully designed, and contained in one beautiful space. Our facility was created with both children and caregivers in mind, blending purposeful learning with fun in a way that feels effortless for families.

When you book with us, your guests will enjoy unlimited access to our unique indoor and outdoor play areas, featuring three thoughtfully designed rooms filled with Montessori-inspired models, soft play equipment, and sensory activities that encourage exploration and imagination. Our covered outdoor patio offers even more space for movement and play, giving kids the freedom to celebrate in their own way.

Inside, you’ll have access to a private party room complete with three 6-foot wooden tables and seating, along with designated dessert and gift tables, complete with signage to make setup simple and stress-free. Planning a picture-perfect moment? Our backdrop area is ready for your custom balloon arch or themed décor. We also provide a kitchen and refrigerator for easy food storage and serving, and yes, outside food and drinks are always welcome.

To make your event even smoother, we offer optional add-ons like solid color table covers (available in navy blue, red, yellow, pink, and black) and party favor upgrades for your guests. Plus, our on-site coffee bar and hydration station are available for purchase, and our storefront makes last-minute gifts and goodies easy to grab. 🥰❤️

Our goal is simple: to create a celebration space where the kids are entertained, the setup is seamless, and the stress is lifted off your shoulders.

With a maximum capacity of 45 guests, our space is perfect for meaningful, memory-filled celebrations for 12 to 15 little ones and their families, whether you’re planning your toddler’s very first birthday or a fun-filled event for children up to age 8.

One of our favorite ways to celebrate the holidays at For the Love of Learning SETX is with a little creativity, a little mess, and LOTS of sweet fun! 🧡🥰 Each year, we love bringing our little learners together for our holiday sugar cookie decorating events, and we are so excited to welcome Quiet Village Bakery for a wonderfully sweet learning experience! 👻🍪

But did you know that decorating cookies is more than just a fun holiday activity? Your little learner is building important developmental skills while they create! 🥹🫶🏼

From squeezing and controlling an icing bag, to pinching and placing tiny sprinkles, cookie decorating gives little hands the opportunity to practice fine motor coordination, hand strength, hand-eye coordination, precision, and dexterity.

Little learners are also practicing focus, patience, decision-making, creativity, and following directions as they choose their colors, decide where to place their decorations, and work to create their very own edible masterpiece. 🎨🍪

And, of course, there is something so special about allowing children to take ownership of their creations. They get to make choices, experiment, make mistakes, try again, and proudly see their hard work come together. ❤️

This is exactly what we mean when we say learning through play. Sometimes learning looks like icing, sprinkles, and a table full of giggling little learners. 🥰

Sugar cookie decorating will begin promptly at 11:15 AM, so we encourage families to arrive on time to get settled and ready to create!

After decorating their delicious masterpieces, our little learners are welcome to enjoy open educational play until 1:00 PM because we believe the learning doesn’t have to stop when the cookies are finished! 🥰

To even be nominated was such an honor, but seeing our little business recognized alongside so many amazing organizations and businesses throughout Southeast Texas truly means more than we can put into words.

For the last four years, we have poured our hearts into creating meaningful, intentional, and memorable experiences for our little learners and their families. From our Mommy & Me events and seasonal celebrations to our hands-on learning activities, we have always wanted our events to be more than just something to attend. We want them to create memories, build connections, encourage our little ones to learn through play, and give our mommas a place where they feel welcomed, supported, and part of a village. 🫶🏽

Creating Community Through Connection ❤️

At For the Love of Learning, we’ve always believed in building connections, supporting one another, and creating a place where every family, and especially every momma, feels welcomed, encouraged, and at home.

When our family moved to Southeast Texas a little over four years ago, we quickly realized how difficult it could be to discover family friendly activities, local resources, and hidden gems throughout the area. As a new mom in a new community, I wished there had been one place to find all of the amazing things our area has to offer.

That experience inspired one of our favorite little additions inside our facility, offering our community wall, complete with the Southeast Texas Travel Guides. These complimentary guides are available for families to take home and feature local restaurants, parks, museums, arts and cultural experiences, outdoor adventures, community resources, and so much more. Whether you’re new to the area or you’ve lived here your entire life, we hope they encourage your family to get out, explore, and make lasting memories together in the community we love so much! 🥹

Supporting children means supporting the entire family, and supporting families means supporting our community. We believe that when local businesses, organizations, and families lift one another up, everyone benefits. By sharing information, celebrating the incredible places around us, and encouraging families to explore locally, we’re helping strengthen the community we all call home. ❤️

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to bring families together, not only through play and education, but also by connecting them with the wonderful people, businesses, and experiences that make Southeast Texas so special. Our space is intentionally designed to support early childhood development through the power of sensory play. These hands-on experiences are more than just fun, they play a critical role in building cognitive skills, strengthening fine motor development, encouraging language growth, and supporting emotional regulation. Through exploration, creativity, and movement, children learn best when they are actively engaged, and our environment is thoughtfully curated to nurture exactly that.

To make your morning even easier, we will also have breakfast items available for purchase, so you can settle in, relax, and enjoy your time without feeling rushed.
