The soft blush, peach and ivory tones, all the beautiful texture, and that loose garden-style movement came together so perfectly. This one will always be one of my favorites.
Romantic, a little unexpected, and full of personality โ€” exactly the kind of bouquet I love creating. โœจ

What a fun day getting to serve as a judge for the Texas Rice Festival Floral Design Student Competition! ๐ŸŒพ๐ŸŒธ

I always enjoy seeing what the next generation of floral designers creates. These students brought so much personality, creativity, color, and technique to their designs, and it was exciting to see how differently each of them interpreted their projects.

Competitions like this are about so much more than winning. They give students a chance to challenge themselves, build confidence, learn from the experience, and hopefully discover an even greater love for floral design.

Iโ€™m grateful I had the opportunity to be a small part of their day and help encourage these talented young designers. The future of our floral industry is looking bright! ๐Ÿ’โœจ

Still thinking about my recent trip to California and the design show at Sequoia Floral International. ๐ŸŒบโœจ
One of the color stories I loved exploring was ASPIRE, part of the American Floral Trends. Bold reds, fuchsias, corals and golden yellows create a palette full of energy, confidence and movement.
For me, Aspire is about more than color. Itโ€™s about texture, scale and craftsmanship. I loved incorporating handmade details that added length, movement and drama to each design.
Thatโ€™s what I love about color trendsโ€”you can take the same palette and interpret it in completely different ways through your own design style.
California gave me the perfect opportunity to Aspire a little bigger. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›

Flowers have a way of bringing people together! ๐ŸŒธ

My recent California trip was filled with creativity, connection, and the joy of sharing my passion at Sequoia Floral Internationalโ€™s 50th anniversary design show in Santa Rosa.

From beautiful colors and textures to new friendships, I came home with so much inspiration to bring back to The Flower Place. ๐Ÿ’•

Iโ€™m sharing more about the trip and my designs inspired by the 2027-28 Discover floral trend in my newest blog. Come take a look!

A beautiful tribute in shades of white, blue, and green. ๐Ÿ’™

This standing spray was designed with graceful movement, soft texture, and rich greenery, accented with blue ribbon for a meaningful touch of color. The willow structure adds a natural, organic element while allowing the flowers to flow beautifully from top to bottom.

Sympathy flowers can be deeply personal, and every detail can help tell the story of the life being honored.

A meaningful tribute should reflect the person being remembered.

Bright sunflowers, rich autumn color, natural branches, antlers, and a favorite camouflage hat came together in this personalized casket sprayโ€”each detail chosen to honor a life connected to the outdoors.

More than flowers, it is a story told through the things they loved. ๐ŸคŽ๐ŸŒป

A little untamed, a little unexpected, and completely one of a kind.

Sculptural branches, protea, allium, roses, and cascading amaranthus came together in this garden-inspired design filled with movement, texture, and personality.

Some designs are simply too good not to revisit. ๐ŸŒธ
