MKC Kitchen MKC's Kitchen LLC is a licensed commercial kitchen built on our family farm, in honor of our daughter Kenzee.

Also licensed as food establishment caterers, a processing plant and mobile food unit, as well as certified in Acidified Foods Manufacturing.

Kenzee loved making everything from scratch and creating her own flavors. She loved the heat, sweet combo, so MKC Kitchen's rub is sweet with a little heat and blended with the finest ingredients. The rub is most popular on chicken or pork, but is also wonderful sprinkled on dishes to add extra flavor. (Our staff love it with sautéed veggies!)

Owners Jess and Denee say their family’s favorite way to use the rub is to score a bar of cream cheese, coat with the rub and smoke on low heat for two hours. Then spread the smoked cream cheese on a cracker with a spoonful of Kenzee’s Everything Sauce. It’s amazing!

🌮✨ Exciting News, Ness City! ✨🍯

Jess has been cooking for folks for over 35 years — from restaurants he worked at, then managed and later owned (like Good Eats in Ness City and Bazine), to catering weddings, reunions, company parties, and memorial meals. He even spent several years cooking for the kids at Ness City Elementary and High School.

Today, Jess runs the processing plant for Kenzee’s Everything Sauce and MKC’s Rub, and last year we added the MKC Food Truck to the mix. 🚚🔥

👉 This Friday, we’re bringing all that experience to Sheepdog’s Kitchen in Ness City!
We’ll be serving up our Street Taco Menu 🌮 — and trust us, it pairs perfectly with Sheepdog’s handcrafted meads. (The Pineapple Mead + Carnitas Tacos are a flavor combo you won’t want to miss! 🍍🥂)
