I wanted to build a brand, not just a business. I envisioned something rooted in service as the most important element, with a hands-on approach to planning. That focus has become the heart of our brand, and we continue to grow from it—creating new platforms and offerings under The Wedding Collection name.

Our goal was to offer a collection of services that gives couples everything they could want or need for their special day—and The Wedding Collection is exactly that.

With over 25 years of experience in retail and project management, I brought the skills I learned in the corporate world together with my passion and love for all things wedding. The result? Something truly unique for our clients: a one-stop wedding shop.

Hello there, my name is Matt Washburn, and I am a planner at The Wedding Collection! I’m the type of planner who truly understands the investment you're making to create your perfect wedding day—something many brides have dreamed about since they were little.

I love that each couple I meet has a unique vibe, and it’s my pleasure to get creative during the planning process to design moments that are fresh and exciting in the wedding world.

Personally, I find happiness in knowing that I’ve helped a couple navigate all the details of planning their wedding to create a one-of-a-kind day that reflects who they are now and who they’re becoming together. The incredible feeling I get knowing that my couple’s day will bring lasting memories to their family, friends, and loved ones is hard to compare to anything else—it makes every step of the process a joy for me.
