Hey everyone!

I haven't been very active on here, but I noticed I have a small handful of new followers, so it's time for me to dust this thing off and reintroduce myself.

First, THANK YOU for following me!!

My name is Alie, and I am the person behind Unique Unions. I am a wedding officiant, graphic designer, artist, mom, wife, and so many things. Here, you'll see the officiant side of me. And probably some graphic design, since I make my own imagery.

Before I go any further, my weddings are secular, non-traditional, and full of heart. I believe all couples deserve respect and to celebrate their love, so I welcome all folks who are in love, especially those in the LGBTQ+ community.

Anyways, I love a good love story. I'm a sucker for a sappy moment, a unique first date, and also those trainwreck date nights that bring you closer and you talk about years later (like Flash Flood Date Night). I want to hear them all.

One of my favorite things about officiating weddings is the writing part of it. I write custom ceremonies for all couples, even the little tiny elopements that don't have any guests. Weddings are special, and they are for YOU, not for the audience. That's who I do this for, for the people who are up there at the front, promising to share their lives for the rest of their days.

So, whether you're looking for an officiant for your own upcoming wedding, know someone who is getting married, or you just want to see what the heck I am up to, I would love for you to follow along!

Ya ever spell something by sound and not how you *know* a word is spelled by accident? I'm just sitting here typing away, putting some finishing touches on the ceremony for an elopement I'm officiating in the morning, and I go to type the word Earth... my fingers and brain were not in sync, and my computer screen showed "urth".

Woops! Fixed it right away, but I think I might need to get some sleep haha.
