It looks expensive. It wasn’t. 😉

This was an in-home celebration with a smaller budget — so the question wasn’t “How do we make it look less?”

It was: “How do we make the budget work harder?”

✨ Glassware that looks real… but LOL, it’s not.
✨ A beautiful place setting that feels layered and intentional.
✨ Florals that bring in color without taking over the table.
✨ Little details that make the whole room feel elevated.

Because sometimes the difference between nice and WOW isn’t spending more.

It’s knowing what to choose, where to splurge, where to save, and how to pull it all together.

Look at this picture.

It’s literally a tiny glass vase with a few little sprigs of flowers.

So…what’s the point?
How does something this small actually make an event better?

By itself, it doesn’t seem like much.

But put it in the right place, with the right colors, next to the right elements—and suddenly it adds texture, movement, color, and a little bit of personality to the table.

And that’s the thing about event design.

It’s not always the big, dramatic pieces that make an event feel beautiful.

It’s all the little details working together.

That’s why when I’m planning an event, I’m looking at more than just “Does everything get done?”

I’m looking at:
What’s missing?
What would make this feel more intentional?
What little detail could take this from nice to really special?

Because sometimes, the smallest details make the biggest difference.
