If you’ve followed Black Sheep for a while, you know we’ve never been afraid to walk through an open door and see where it leads.
A few years ago, one of those doors was the art world.
What started with us helping produce an art festival turned into another festival, then another. Along the way, we built relationships with some incredible artists and makers and realized how much we freaking love this world.
The creativity. The artists. The communities. The downtowns. And especially creating platforms where talented people can show their work, sell their work and build their businesses.
At some point, we realized this had become bigger than just another type of event Black Sheep produces.
So we started Georgia Art Events .
G*E gives the art side of what we do its own identity, its own community and a hell of a lot of room to grow.
Black Sheep isn’t going anywhere. We’re still producing festivals, concerts, BBQ events and all the other craziness we’ve built over the years.
We’re just building something new alongside it.
And we have some pretty big plans for where Georgia Art Events is headed.
