I had a fantastic experience at the Texas Pumpkin Fest yesterday; Trey Ariola, who's birthday I performed for 25 years ago, attended the show with his wife and baby! 2nd generation performances are moving and meaningful, and make me realize how lucky I am to have been able to do what I love my entire adult life! Trey also sent this touching email:
"25 years ago, you did a birthday party for a little boy. I don't remember if it was my first time seeing a clown, but it was by far the best I'd ever seen. No other clown has ever come close in style and ability for me and I have compared all others to your high caliber.
Today, I got to take my daughter to see you for her first ever show. I don't know if she'll remember it like I remember mine, but it was still really fun to introduce her to a piece of my childhood.
Thank you again for today. Not just for my daughter, but for that kid from 25 years ago. I was instantly transported back to that moment and I'll always remember it".
