Whew... it's a HOT one today! Even the ice cream man needs a way to cool down sometimes.

Today I treated myself to a Hershey's Polar Blast Fruit Punch Freeze. It had been a while since I'd had one, and wow... one sip instantly transported me back to the 1980s.

My mom had those fancy Tupperware popsicle molds. She'd pour bright red Hawaiian Punch into them, stick them in the freezer, and a few hours later we'd have the most delicious (and very sticky!) homemade popsicles. 🍧

That Polar Blast tasted exactly like those childhood summers.

That's the thing about an ice cream truck. It's never just about the ice cream.
It's hearing the music down the street... It's running outside with your friends... It's sticky fingers, big smiles, and memories that can last a lifetime.

Last night I got a DM asking why I haven't been posting much on social media lately.

The answer is actually a pretty great problem to have... 😊

This year has been absolutely incredible, and I'm thankful to say that Danny's Ice Cream Truck has been busier than ever! The mornings I used to spend drinking coffee and creating Facebook posts are now spent sending invoices, answering messages, and following up with customers booking their events.

I've also been getting the truck ready for another Texas summer! We just completed a major service to make sure everything—from the fluids to the mechanicals—is ready for the Austin heat so we can continue providing reliable, on-time service all summer long.

Even though I've been a little quieter on social media, we're still out serving smiles across the Austin metro every day!

🍦 We're still booking summer events! 📅 June is already about 85% full, and July dates are disappearing quickly.

Today we're kicking things off by serving some amazing students and their families at a Vacation Bible School event. We love being part of community gatherings and helping create sweet memories!

Running a small business is not easy. Between juggling bookings, vehicle maintenance, permits, insurance, rising product costs, and fuel expenses, there are definitely some long days.
