Call it a “two year itch,” or maybe I always knew it was heading this way, but I found myself re-examining where my strengths & talents within the business were shining brightest, prior to the current sanitary problems. Nearly two years ago, when I started Cook’D Kitchen, w/ a long list of BIG DREAMS, & a “To-Do” that would surely take me a decade to complete, someone very wise reminded me that the direction & path for Cook’D would be revealed to me very clearly. -- As it turns out, it has. And in the wake and devastation of 2020, I was gifted two things: a son (undeniably positive and joy sparking*),& time. An extraordinary, “consequence- free” gift of time to search, & meditate, ruminate, & MARINATE on career decisions, personal growth,& set new goals.
First, an update: my Mobile Cooking Studio was an amazing adventure! The knowledge I gained throughout the construction process was invaluable. She served as a host to special dinners, photoshoots, a product development space, an exceedingly comfortable office,& even as a short term home for a friend. As of July 2020, she has gone to be with wonderful new owners who plan to take her on adventures, clock some highway miles,& enjoy beautiful meals along the way. This kitchen has other fish to fry.
Those who followed along with my journey through restoration & bringing Cook’D to life (as an “In-Home” personal chef) are invited to follow along on my new journey with an emphasis on product development & family meal planning throughout multiple interactive platforms. The ability to operate & share Cook’D Kitchen without infringing on the safety of my clients, the loved ones in my home, & irreplaceable family members & friends is the highest priority. Now, more than ever, it is important to marry my company with the next level of motherhood, & my passion for other avenues in the culinary industry. I am so excited to reveal those surprises & milestones as they come. Until then, I am still here for all your meal planning, dietary restriction consulting, custom recipe compilations,simple palate expanding needs & ALL THE QUESTIONS.
