๐ PARKING โ NO OUIJA BOARD REQUIRED
Finding a place to park shouldn't be the scariest part of your day.
Parking at the Augusta Civic Center is FREE for event attendees.
Overnight parking is not permitted without prior authorization from the Augusta Civic Center.
๐ช BEFORE YOU CROSS THE THRESHOLD
For the safety of mortals, monsters, ghosts, ghouls, and everyone in between, guests and their belongings may be subject to security screening.
The Augusta Civic Center reserves the right to inspect bags, packages, and other items brought into the facility and may refuse admission to guests who do not comply with venue policies or applicable laws.
Please allow additional time for entry during peak arrival periods.
Pro tip from the crypt: Leave prohibited items at home. It makes getting through the gates of the underworld much easier.
๐ SMART GLASSES & WEARABLE RECORDING DEVICES
The Spirits May Be Watching. Your Glasses Shouldn't Be.
To protect the privacy of attendees, celebrity guests, vendors, performers, presenters, and other convention participants, wearable devices capable of capturing photographs, video, or audio may not be worn or used during the convention.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Meta/Ray-Ban smart glasses
Other camera-equipped or recording-capable eyewear
Body-worn cameras
Similar wearable photo, video, or audio recording devices
This restriction applies regardless of manufacturer or brand.
๐ Prescription Smart Glasses
We know some smart glasses aren't just smart โ they're how you see.
If your smart glasses contain the prescription lenses you need in order to see and you do not have alternative prescription eyewear available, you will not be required to remove your prescription glasses in order to attend the convention.
However, the photography, video, audio recording, livestreaming, and other recording capabilities of the device may not be used while attending the convention.
Wearing prescription smart glasses does not provide permission to record.
โฟ Disability-Related Accessibility Use
Some guests use smart glasses or other wearable technology for disability-related accessibility functions.
If you need a wearable electronic device for a disability-related accessibility purpose, please contact the Augusta Civic Center in advance whenever possible at 207-626-2405 so we can discuss your accessibility needs and determine what accommodations may be appropriate.
Some auxiliary aids, services, specialized equipment, or outside services require advance arrangements and may not be available without prior notice.
If you are unable to contact us in advance, please speak with Augusta Civic Center staff when you arrive. Day-of requests will be addressed to the extent reasonably possible.
Assistive technology isn't something to fear. If you need it, talk to us. We're here to help you enjoy the convention.
Everyone Else
If you don't need the device as prescription eyewear or for a disability-related accessibility purpose, it must be removed and secured with your personal belongings before entering the convention.
The Augusta Civic Center and event organizer cannot store or take custody of these devices and are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
Bottom line: The ghosts can haunt the halls. Your smart glasses can't record them.
๐ธ PHOTOGRAPHY & RECORDING
Ask Before You Capture the Evidence
We know โ if you see a ghost, you're going to want proof.
Phones and traditional handheld cameras are subject to the convention's photography and recording rules.
Please respect all posted No Photography and No Recording areas and any restrictions established for celebrity guests, panels, presentations, vendors, photo opportunities, or other convention activities.
Permission to take photographs in one area does not mean photography or recording is permitted everywhere.
When in doubt, ask before you capture the evidence.

๐ช COSTUMES & PROPS
Costumes are part of the fun. We love seeing what crawls, floats, shuffles, stalks, or materializes through our doors.
But there's one important rule:
Keep the horror fake.
Real weapons are prohibited.
Costume props that create a safety concern, could reasonably be mistaken for an actual weapon, or otherwise violate Augusta Civic Center policies may be denied entry.
A terrifying costume?
YES.
An actual terrifying weapon?
NO.
If you're unsure about a particular prop, check before bringing it to the convention.
๐ฟ FOOD & BEVERAGES
Even Monsters Get Hungry
Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the Augusta Civic Center except when specifically authorized or when an exception is required.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase inside the facility.
Guests with special dietary needs are encouraged to contact the Augusta Civic Center in advance.
Paranormal investigations are always better with snacks.
๐ญ SMOKING & VA**NG
No Smoke Machines Required
Smoking and va**ng are prohibited inside the Augusta Civic Center.
This includes to***co, cannabis, ni****ne, and va**ng products.
If you see mysterious fog drifting down a hallway, we'd prefer it be part of the convention.
๐โ๐ฆบ SERVICE ANIMALS
Some Heroes Have Four Legs
Service dogs individually trained to perform work or tasks for a person with a disability are welcome at the Augusta Civic Center and must remain under the control of their handler.
Pets and animals that do not qualify as service animals are not permitted.
Please remember: never distract, pet, feed, or interact with a working service dog without the handler's permission.
โฟ ACCESSIBILITY
Everyone Is Welcome on This Side
The Augusta Civic Center is committed to providing an accessible experience for our guests.
If you require an accommodation, please contact us in advance whenever possible:
Augusta Civic Center Administration
207-626-2405
Advance notice is especially important when an accommodation requires specialized equipment, an outside service provider, or other arrangements that ACC does not routinely maintain onsite.
We will make reasonable efforts to address accommodation requests received on the day of the event; however, specialized equipment and outside services cannot be guaranteed without advance notice.
No sรฉance required. Just give us a call.
๐ฏ๏ธ LOST & FOUND
Sometimes Things Mysteriously Disappear
Please keep track of your personal belongings.
The Augusta Civic Center is not responsible for lost, stolen, unattended, or unclaimed property.
Found items are held by the Augusta Civic Center for 30 days.
If something mysteriously vanishes during the convention, check with us before assuming you've experienced paranormal activity.
๐จ IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY
Follow the Living
If an evacuation becomes necessary, follow the directions of Augusta Civic Center staff and security personnel.
Leave the building using the nearest available exit and proceed away from the building as directed.
As tempting as it may be...
This is not the time to split up and investigate the strange noise.
๐ง ONE LAST WARNING FROM THE CRYPT...
