A note from A New View Photography:
Recently, A New View Photography and I personally made the decision to step away from several Facebook groups related to wedding resources, wedding advertising, and wedding vendor networking.
This was not a quick or easy decision. We have been part of some of these communities for several years, and we have always tried to contribute in a respectful and professional way — whether that meant offering our own services when appropriate, supporting others in the industry, or posting paid opportunities when we needed trusted assistance for a wedding or event.
Going forward, we are choosing to place A New View Photography only in spaces that align with the values, ethics, and professionalism we want associated with our business.
This decision came after recent experiences where professional posts seeking paid assistance were met with unnecessary negativity, self-promotion, and public commentary that did not reflect the type of respectful vendor community we want to be part of. The posts clearly outlined the work needed, the expectations for the day, and the offered pay. We were open to sincere questions and professional responses, and we truly appreciate those who reached out with genuine interest, respect, and understanding.
To those who responded sincerely and professionally, thank you. We appreciate you, and we hope to connect and work together on future opportunities.
A New View Photography is still very much active in the wedding, event, photo, and video market. We are not stepping away from the industry. We are simply being more intentional about where we network, where we advertise, and which platforms reflect the standards we want connected to our brand.
Moving forward, we will continue to work through trusted, verified, and like-minded connections. We will keep building relationships with couples, venues, planners, coordinators, vendors, and creative professionals who value respect, clear communication, fair opportunities, and professionalism.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support A New View Photography. We are grateful for the couples, families, vendors, and venues who trust us, refer us, and work alongside us.
