Feeling Good Today…
Felt so privileged to be asked by my church’s Events Committee to decorate the Fellowship Hall for our church’s 135th Church Anniversary and Mortgage Burning Ceremony Brunch.

As a 30 year church member, I feel blessed to see our church family accomplish the goal of becoming debt-free.

Celebrating 60 Years…
As an event designer, when it was MY turn to celebrate my 60th Birthday, I leaned into our business motto, “Details are Our Specialty.”

*The Theme- “Diamond Jubilee”; marking a 60th birthday/anniversary; liken to the enduring nature of a diamond

The Vibe: Elegant, but Relaxed

*The Colors: Emerald Green, Silver, & Black-
Emerald Green represents luxury and refinement; Silver represents reflection; and Black represents elegance and sophistication

*The Attire: Shades of Green

*The Venue: Maggiano’- beautiful location; the food was a delicious 3 course, family-style meal

*The “Digest”: A summary of my life’s journey so far and the gamecard, “Would She Rather?” My girls know me well.

*The Backdrop: The 6 ft photo banner and organic balloon garland were a “showstopper”; lots of pics were taken

*The Notecard: Served as a table assignment card and as a HANDWRITTEN note to every guest recounting “My Fondest Memory” with each one. These notes caused out-loud laughs and, in some cases, tears.

The “Purses”: signified my favorite accessory; They contained the must-haves: lip balm, hand lotion, gum/mints, and a pen. A few lucky ones held lottery scratch-off tickets. Hopefully, someone won a little “something, something”

The Favors: My favorite custom treat…a candy apple; The color was a beautiful emerald green; The candy coating was smooth like glass, and the apple was tangy; Perfection!

The Cake: heart-shaped; vanilla cake and buttercream icing go together, real bad…delicious!

The Guests: Family and Friends… Priceless!

I love what I do, and I love the people I get to do it with.

My day was everything! I celebrate Me!!!

YEA Easter Egg Hunt 2026…
Year 3 of About Last Knight Events serving as one of the sponsors for Youth Education Alliance ‘s Community Easter Egg Hunt. Wade-Walker Park was the perfect place for egg hunts, games, prizes, food, music, and fun. The kids loved it, and we did, too!

BTS is crazy to host events of this size, but God! Thank you, Millz The Braider 🌍🇸🇱 🔌, for leading the way. So proud of you.

Baby Bonanza…
When you’re part of a sisterhood that celebrates you as a mommy-2-be with a diaper drop, it is a blessing. Now, when there’s 4 mommy-2-be’s, it’s a diaper extravaganza!!!

Thank you, and “The Destined 137s,” for asking to play a part in welcoming these new cowgirls and cowboy, as well as, honoring the new sheriffs (mommy-2-be’s). We loved making these “cowgirls/boy boots and hats” balloon stacks.
