Slauer Events & Design is a wedding design, planning, and coordination firm with bases in Atlanta, GA and Raleigh - Durham, NC. Although we call the Research Triangle home, we love serving Georgia and the Carolinas at large. We value relationship with our clients and want our brides to walk away from every interaction feeling heard, taken care of, and truly excited about what we’re creating togeth

er. My own love for wedding planning began when I got engaged to my high school sweetheart, Ryan, in 2013. For a year and a half, I researched, chose colors and menus, built relationships with local vendors, set timelines, and designed floor plans. My fiancé and I hoped deeply for all these pieces to come together as a cohesive celebration of our marriage and families. Even more deeply, we prayed that our wedding would portray the great glory and joy of God's grace-filled love. Slauer Events was born in Atlanta, GA, but expanded to North Carolina in the summer of 2019. My husband and I now live in Durham with our son, Levi, and our pup, Emmy. I travel back to Atlanta to serve clients there about once a month. Although I plan events of many different aesthetics, my personal style can be summed up by the phrase “simple with an edge.” I am drawn to clean and neutral for the most part, but love to add a pop of color or a statement pattern to keep things interesting.
