Each year over 5,000 students graduate from the DeKalb County School District (DCSD). This week we would have hosted 23 of 24 DCSD high school graduation ceremonies. While those graduations will be held virtually in June, we want to celebrate those seniors this week. Congratulations to the class of 2020!

The Tip-off: The Final Four that never was still made community impact.

Although the games weren’t to be, and A-list concerts featuring the likes of Taylor Swift didn’t happen, the Final Four is more than feats of athleticism and entertainment – and the Atlanta Basketball Host Committee still made a positive impact on the metro Atlanta community, leaving a lasting legacy.

Georgia World Congress Center Authority's (GWCCA) downtown Atlanta campus was sure to be brimming with excitement and activity in celebration of college basketball during the first weekend in April. The champs would cut down the nets and the

Welcome to the 21st century. Barbaric practices of circuses are no longer acceptable forms of “entertainment”. People are becoming educated about the cruel practices of circuses that use animals as “things” for profit. End your support of primitive, exploitative entertainment.
Animals are not "entertainment"...Please do not contract with Garden Brothers Circus unless they ditch the animal acts. The circus's animal acts are cruel and torturous to them...as is being chained/caged in between – I hope you understand how wrong this is, and will refuse to support it. Do the humane thing.
Please ensure that Garden Bros.' scheduled performances are animal-free, and please do not host cruel animal acts in the future.
