Because imperfections are why film photos have so much character! 🎞️

Let’s talk about light leaks (we won’t make this caption an essay on how film works but we could because it’s truly fascinating 🤓)

A light leak in film photography creates unexpected bursts of light and color. These happen when stray light exposes the film, often due to camera quirks or happy accidents from the environment you’re taking photos in.

They’ve become such a staple in photography aesthetics that you can always find a filter to add one on digital photos, but just know that when you see a light leak on our photos they’re the real deal…. I guess that makes the light leak an *unpaid actor?
