As a Pakistani Muslim immigrant woman, it was such a joy to be able to share my story. Like many other women in my culture and generation, I was a stay-at-home mom and wife for most of my adulthood with many dreams and aspirations that I only hoped to fulfill. Finally, I took a leap of faith when I was 46 years old and decided to go all-in with my own event and wedding decorating business. I had such little resources at the time, and would spend hours upon hours building different sets and designs. Today, in a few short years, my business has grown and I've been able to fulfill so many of the dreams I had growing up. I hope my story can inspire other women to pursue their dreams as well.

Designed this arch for a client who had a vision of their walima decor including an arch inscripted with “Subhanallah wa bihamdihi (سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ)”
Translation: “Glory be to Allah and all praise is due to Him”

I loved bringing this idea to life. How beautiful does the white arch look against the gold decor and backdrop
