Whenever I go to a wedding all I am thinking is where is the cake. Cake is amazing, but it takes focus off the couple.You didn't spend all that money on a dress just so everybody can think about the free food they are about to eat.

Everybody should be looking at these soul mates committing their lives to each other. That is where a rockin officiant comes in. Let me keep the focus on where it belongs.

We have been getting some increased interest! A few emails and phone calls this week inquiring about officiant services. I really cant tell you how good it feels to sign a marriage license and look at the happiness in a couples eyes. Plus, who doesn't like a wedding?!

I married two people today. There was no wedding, no big elaborate ceremony. Just me, the couple, and a few close friends in a parking lot. But seeing the look on their faces as I signed their marriage license made me think about how marriage is not about a big wedding or fancy invitations. Marriage is just one way to express the love that we have for one another. I wish this couple all the best and hope they have a long and happy life together.

Nobody will remember if you were missing a few flowers, or if the runner on table three was six inches shorter on the left side than the right. In fact, most people won't even notice. But if your officiant messes up, everybody knows.
