I pulled out Old Faithful, opened some old sessions and started creating again. That decision has officially placed me in the Top 5 of Timbaland’s Global Search with ORBiiT!

Hey… I did a thing. 🎶🙏🏾

My therapist challenged me to reconnect with the things that made me feel fun and free as a child—so I picked up making music again.

Then I stepped out on faith and entered Timbaland’s Global Search.

This isn’t just about winning. It’s about healing, obeying God, and refusing to hide the talents He gave me. All I have is God, the 757, and a vision to keep good music alive.

Back When It Was Rap: The Bull City Edition brought Durham hip-hop history to life through the eyes and archives of the legendary DJ NABS — flyers, records, newspaper clippings, photos, stories and pieces of the culture that helped shape the Bull City. 🐂🎶

Being inside Grandma’s House and getting a chance to capture this experience reminded me that some stories can’t just be talked about… they have to be preserved, experienced and passed down.

And with Black August in the Park continuing to create space for Black culture, community and storytelling, this felt right on time.

Durham has a story.
Hip-Hop has a story.
And we have a responsibility to keep telling it.
