As of 3/20/20 All refunds have been processed. If I missed someone please email me at [email protected] and I will go back and check to make sure your refund was processed. Paypal refunds should be posted already and The credit/debit card stripe refunds stated it would be 5-10 days to process. We apologize for the inconvenience. We have sent several mass emails updating people on the refund process, but I’m still receiving dm’s/emails requesting any information on the refund even though we have sent several mass emails out and have been giving updates on social media everyday on social media. (my personal and Final Round event page and on the official Final Round Twitter) With doing this we have tried to be as transparent as we possible could be in this horrible situation.
FR2020 has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak! We do not want to contribute to the spread of the COVID-19 VIRUS throughout Atlanta and the southeast region due to over 600 people traveling to the event. We did not want to risk getting our attendees infected and them taking that infection back to their local area's and increasing the outbreak! With that said we are offering partial refunds for each person that registered due to administrative cost paid prior to the event starting. The cancellation partial refund for entry fee (43% of badge entry fee and 100% game fee) is due to administrative cost paid for prior to cancellation of the event. A percentage of the entry fee's for any event are used to pay for the administrative cost prior to the start of the event, so we will have the ability to run the event. At this moment We simply don't have the funds available to give a full refund to everyone as stated in the Cancellation statement

We apologize for the huge inconvenience this has become cancelling the event one week before the event due to Covid-19 outbreak and we do understand why anyone would want a full refund since the event was cancelled due to public health safety. We cancelled because we cared about everyone attending health/safety over money. These are things we can not control and we hope you will understand and accept the partial refund. We know these are tough times and that's why we are trying to give everyone back something equally to help easy the burden in this uncertain time. Please don't dispute the refund because not only will it hurt everyone else refund %, but stripe charges an extra $15 for cancelled charges and that will ruin any chances of giving everyone anything back with a rash of additional cost added to the refunds.
