The co-founding partners of the firm - Mark Hill and Herman Howard met at the beginning of their professional careers while working together at the internationally renowned NY firm of I.M. Pei + Partners which later became Pei Cobb Freed + Partners. They each went on to significant leadership roles in nationally prominent firms. Herman Howard was with the firm HOK based in Atlanta where he held a VP position for 3+ years. While Mark Hill was with the NYC firm Gwathmey Siegel and Associates Architects for 13 years where he held an officer position as Associate-in-charge. The founding principals have studied under several master architects and planners and have had opportunity to both work on and lead many exciting and award winning projects across the country.
