Still floating on the magic of this past week. ⚽️🤍

We officially hit double digits in our house, and it’s been a beautiful reminder of why I started Davis Signature Events a decade ago. My son was the original spark—the ‘why’ that turned a love for design into a mission to create spaces where families can truly connect.

Watching him grow into this milestone year has been my favorite project to date. It’s reminded me that while the logistics and the ‘whimsy’ are what we do, the legacy and the love are why we do it.

We had 2 weeks of back to back celebrations, and now, back to designing the next decade of masterpieces.

What is it about a carnival that feels so timeless? 🎪✨ The vibrant colors, the playful energy, the promise of wonder around every corner—it’s a theme that brings out the kid in all of us and creates the most magical core memories.

This mood board was the starting point for a very special celebration: a 2nd birthday party! The challenge? The family came to us to plan the entire event, from venue to vendors, in just two weeks.

Our first step is always to listen. Through our detailed design questionnaire, we learned all about the birthday boy’s personality and the family’s vision. They wanted a “Colorful & Playful” aesthetic with one very important rule: absolutely no clowns!. Their main goal was a “fun party where kids are entertained and have a blast”, complete with engaging entertainment to keep guests of all ages captivated.

This is the difference between just hosting a party and creating a personalized experience.
