Gainesville friends and neighbors, come on down to the lake tomorrow for a day filled with live music and help support our local veterans. I'll be kicking thing off around 11, and other local musicians will be performing throughout the day. Doors open at 10:30!

I am feeling especially thankful on this beautiful Wednesday. I don't often post about my personal life on the music page, but this little guy is learning to take his first steps and teaching me and his mama how amazing life truly is.

For those who do not know, I host an "Open Mic Night" in Gainesville on Tuesday nights. It gives performers of all ages and skill levels a chance to step up to the mic and share their gift of music with others. If you enjoy live music, you should really come out and see what these amazing artists have to offer. We have had several in the past few weeks (that have never played in front of other people) stand and deliver what's on their heart through song. It is a truly special and unique experience.

Also, if you'd like to hear more about it, and a song or two, I'll be performing at Jack's Public House in Braselton this Saturday night. I'd love to see you there!!
