In case you missed it, I (Kaye) am filming weddings again!

I am now booking what I'm calling "Beauty Collections" which will be the mostly preparations, first look/portraits, ceremony, decor and first dance.

I call these beauty collections or packages, because (and this may be an unpopular opinion) but once we reach the party/dancing portion of the evening, it's just not as gorgeous. I thrive when I'm capturing beauty so I'm just trying to find a specific niche for me 🥰

We can officially say we've filmed our very last wedding together!

We do corporate/business documentary filmmaking with our new-ish company Southern Light Cinema, and Kaye may still take weddings on a case by case basis, but as of tonight, "Jonathan and Kaye" has retired! ❤️ (yes we took a photo DURING the ceremony to commemorate the moment) 😜

Mike and Ashley’s Atlanta wedding was stunning from beginning to end. Ashely began the day by getting ready in her parent’s GORGEOUS estate in Buckhead, (there wasn’t a single room that we couldn’t have filmed in, even the bathrooms were magazine worthy!) while Mike finalized his preparations at St. Regis Atlanta. The two made their way to the iconic Peachtree Rd United Methodist Church for the ceremony. As we headed to the St. Regis for the reception and portraits, we were a little rushed as we saw a huge rain cloud coming in, and we still wanted to get some out door portraits of the new bride and groom. We hit some sort of MAGICAL moment, where it did start to rain but the sun was still shining, which resulted in some incredibly unique and artistic shots of the couple. We were thrilled! The magic didn’t stop there, as you can see, when you walked in to the ballroom for the reception, we were greeted with tall greenery with classic white florals throughout the entire room, and a clawfoot brides cake (yes clawfoot!). Not only was the entire day filled with beauty, but the couple’s love for each other was the real star of the show and reason to be celebrated! What a beautiful day it was for Conner and Jasmin to get married at Warbington Farms! The setting was perfect for these two outdoorsy, adventurous love birds. Because the land had no where for the bride to hide, as the couple did not do a first look, they used an airstream as a little tuck away spot that also made for unique and beautiful portraits. Jasmin and Conner own a restaurant together in Roswell, and are known for having big hearts and serving the community together. Their friends and family clearly state over and over again that these two are truly a perfect match!

This couple's wedding took place during the Covid-19 pandemic and was reimagined from the initial vision to keep the bride and groom's family and friends safe throughout the celebrations. Many guests were unable to attend in person but joined in the ceremony and reception through a live stream.

The film opens up with a special video made as a surprise by the bride and groom's close friends who couldn't attend the wedding in person. There was a feeling of community through the wedding weekend, and this surprise gift was just one example of it.

Slaton grew up in this quiet country town, and it was the perfect setting for the updated, more intimate version of Maggie and Slaton's wedding day. There ceremony was held at Slaton's grandmother Sara's home, and the reception was at his childhood home; the bride and groom got ready in the homes of family and friends.

The couple asked several family members to speak during the ceremony, and were able to have their flower girls and some of their readers present on Zoom. Their custom vows, though not spoken directly by the bride and groom, were deeply meaningful and straight from the heart. You can see their passion in their eyes as they recite their "I Do's"!

We loved every second of this wedding film as the beautiful moments really fit together to tell the story of their love!
