Today, we send our happiest birthday wishes to Shawne Jacobs, President and Creative Director of Anne Barge. Shawne began her career at the company in 2002 under the founder and namesake Mrs. Anne Barge Clegg. Upon learning every aspect of the bridal business and honing her design skills under the tutelage of Mrs. Barge, she assumed her role as Creative Director in 2014 and has since evolved the brand and collection into her own.
A sweet Saturday on the sandy Ponte Vedra Beach boulevard, Mr. and Mrs. Jayko’s wedding day was absolutely gorgeous. A stunning sunset set the ideal stage for their ‘I Do’s’ and the rest was a party for the books 🐚💛 Cheers to our Anne Barge bride and her groom!

For Becca and Mitch, the perfect summer day is spent on the beautiful lakes of Madison, Wisconsin—the same lakes where their love story began on Memorial Day weekend in 2018 when Becca first stepped onto Mitch's boat. It was only fitting that their wedding day began with a boat ride at the place where their journey together started.
Becca walked down the aisle in a custom Tucker gown. For the ceremony, she added an overskirt, transforming her look into a stunning ball gown. Before their grand entrance as the new Mr. and Mrs., Becca removed the overskirt and styled her hair into a chic updo, while Mitch donned a sparkling blue jacket.

“I always thought I would wear a strapless sweetheart wedding gown, but when I went to the atelier and tried on the Everlasting gown (only the second dress I tried), all of that went out the window. The bodice of the dress was breathtaking with its delicate, hand-placed lace, but it was the stunning detail of the metallic embroidery that made this dress a showstopper. I had never seen anything like it!
I felt amazing in the gown—better than I ever thought possible–and once I added my custom-made, cathedral-length Everlasting veil, which I had custom-made, it seriously felt like I was dreaming. A few days later, I came to realize that the only “inspiration” picture I had sent my mother prior to dress shopping was a picture of the Everlasting gown. Killian and Colleen were married on Saturday at the groom’s parents' private estate just outside Baltimore, Maryland. The wedding included many special touches such as the unique location, custom rings, antique wedding gowns, and vintage purses sourced by the bride. The groom’s parents' home has been a venue for family weddings in the past, making it the perfect place for Colleen and Killian to exchange vows. Upon arrival, guests were greeted by a display of antique wedding dresses worn by women in the family in previous generations. The collection even included the wedding dress worn by Killian’s great-grandmother in the 1930s!
