Their pup Cooper was the best wedding guest! His tux looked gooood! And he knew to bark in unison with the cheering guests when I pronounced them husband & wife. Great celebration!

Beautiful couple surrounded by loving family on a perfect fall afternoon got married in the most perfect gem of a venue. Sigh! So romantic!

Their intimate ceremony was held on the anniversary of their first date. They couldn’t stop smiling and repeating, “we’re married!” “You’re my husband! You’re my wife!” followed by hugs, giggles, and more hugs. They were so happy that neither the photographer nor I could stop smiling either.

Such a sweet midweek elopement. The beading on her dress was handmade with materials from a riverbed near their hometown. It was a lovely tradition that added great significance to their special day.

They planned for an outdoor wedding with lots of fun & games for the guests. There was so much rain that everyone’s shoes got squishy. Despite the mud & rain challenges, these grooms made the best of it. They never stopped smiling. I hope they don’t experience too many of life storms but when they do, may they face them with the same grace they did on their wedding day.

Happy anniversary to one of my favorite bonus nephews and his beautiful wife! Whenever I spend any time with them, I can feel their happiness. I wish them much joy on their continuing adventures.

Their pup Miso, along with their two children, were their wedding attendants. Lots of cuteness plus a couple who adored each other - it made for the perfect elopement in the park!

Officiating weddings has brought me such joy! Working with the couples is great, but I’ve also met so many talented wedding vendors. Yesterday was the celebration of 20 years of Taproot Photography. Kate’s warmth shows in her beautiful photography work. Her gardens are stunning (and such a great spot for elopements & micro weddings). I look forward to working with her on future weddings. Here’s to the next 20 years!

Wrapped up a week of wedding celebrations with the marriage of this beautiful couple. Imagine these gardens nestled in the heart of downtown Philly. The setting was enhanced even more as their family and friends shared music and readings. Then we heard their heartfelt vows! It was a perfect wedding.
