Happy Monday! Or ugh, Monday. How was everyone's weekend?

Something else cool we are doing for BookBash 2027!

Kid-preneurs! We wanted to give an opportunity to kids ages 9-15 to sell their wares!

Bookbash is all about giving back and helping our community, and what a fun way this will be!

We have 10 spots set aside for our Kid-preneurs. Ages 9-15. All kid-preneurs must have a parent/guardian with them.

First round of acceptance e-mails went out today! Why? We are building a BookBash Mentorship program! We have always been about helping new authors and vendors, so we are making it an official thing! The acceptance e-mails that went out today were to people we personally know who would love to be a Mentor for this and can help us get this set up. So please do not feel left out if you did not get an acceptance e-mail today. It doesn't mean anyone is more special than anyone else. Again, these are people we know, who are BookBash veterans who can help us set up this program and really get it going.

Applications are still open. The final app deadline is Dec 1 and the final round of acceptances will go out by January.

We also have another special thing we are doing this year too! it has to do with ten spots we saved for a specific group of people. We will announce that tomorrow!

Application for BookBash 2027in the comments since FB doesn't like links in posts anymore.

This year, we are doing something a little different. Because we want to do a mentor program, we will be doing a round of acceptances this week. Applications are still open, and we will not be cutting them off until December. But with the mentor program, we want to get a jump start by accepting a few veterans and newbies early to get the program started.

It is definitely past time we had a website. So Joe and I are working on that this weekend. So if you hear any screams of frustration it's just me working on the website 🤣🙈

HERE IS IT. We are very excited to have Paula Lafferty - Author for BookBash 2027! In the morning before doors open, she will be doing a special presentation for the authors of Bookbash, "How to Connect with Readers on Social Media" and a book signing for everyone from 11-1.

Contact Pretty Good Books to order a copy of Paula's books to pick up at the show and get them signed.
