Everything in the world feels heavy right now.

I’ve wrestled with whether I should even promote for Valentines, and though this content has been ready for a while, I had to pause and think about how to us it meaningfully. I don’t know the perfect way to carry all of this. But I do believe in showing up anyway. In small, imperfect ways.

Flowers have always been a way for me to hold care and connection even in difficult moments. That said, Valentine’s Day orders are open. This year, 10% of our profits will be donated to Siembra NC, a grassroots North Carolina organization building community defense and support for people facing immigration enforcement, workplace abuse, and more. Holding joy and grief at the same time feels necessary right now. Thank you for supporting work that tries to do both.

Our 2026 events are officially underway! Excited to bring beauty and meaning to every celebration this year.

2025, I have so much love for you! When this year started I was so lost and unsure where I belonged or what I was going to do. Jobless, I started reaching out to florists I loved to see if I could freelance for them, and I picked up Instacart during the slow season just to make ends meet. Then I was encouraged by my wife and so many around me to start my own business. With the help of some friends with my website and branding, I jumped right in.
This year has been full of amazing experiences, meeting incredible farmers, florists, other freelancers, and finally finding my place again. I started a business, I got married, and so so much more. I’m lucky to end this year feeling grateful, proud, and genuinely accomplished.

A few (maybe a lot) shoutouts to some amazing folk who helped me through the year.
My wife for being my constant support (and free labor)
My besties & for getting my branding started and making it feel real
My floral bestie who started her own biz too so now we get to cheer each other on in the purest way
To my friends and family who showed up, supported me and believed in this dream right alongside me, you all mean more than words.
To the florists who send me inquiries when they’re booked, answer any of my questions, or offer advice right when I need it- thank you. .floral .florals You are such a light in this floral world.

My favorite coworker works for zero dollars an hour and still shows up with a smile. That’s real romance!!!

My wife is the reason I have content and photos of anything at all, and I truly couldn’t have gotten through this month without her. Behind so many small businesses is a spouse earning zero dollars an hour after their own 40/hr week job. I see you!

Wrapping up my last few weddings of the year feels bittersweet, but mostly I’m feeling proud, grateful, and so excited for what’s next.
