With every order, we send a delivery confirmation photo to your email once your flowers are delivered to the grave site. We can place flower arrangements on National Cemetery graves at any time of the year. Christmas wreaths, potted poinsettias and other seasonal adornments may be placed on National Cemetery graves from Dec. 10 through Jan. 10. For deliveries to memorial and funeral services, the deceased's name and date/time of the service is all the information you need to provide. The cemetery will release the section and grave location of the burial site to us a day prior the service. The same procedure applies to internment services at the Columbarium. We are strategically located less than a mile from the entrance of the cemetery enabling us to provide timely flower deliveries for all Arlington National Cemetery services including 8:00 a.m. funeral services and all wreath laying ceremonies at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is located high on a hill overlooking Washington, DC. The tomb was dedicated in 1921 and contains the remains of soldiers from WWI, WWII, Korea and Vietnam. The tomb is guarded 24 hours a day. Requests by members of the public to conduct memorial services must be in writing, mailed to the Superintendent, Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va. 22211. The requester needs to detail extensively the proposed service, as spelled out in the regulation, that it is nonpartisan in nature, be conducted in a dignified and proper manner and in keeping with the regulation. A simpler avenue exists for school and civic organizations coming to Washington, D.C., that wish to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns. All that is required is that a representative of the requesting organization write to Arlington National Cemetery, Attn: Public Wreath Ceremonies, Arlington ,VA 22211 on organizational letterhead. The sender should indicate on the outside of the envelope that it is a "wreath-laying request." The letter should indicate when the group is visiting, its schedule limitations, and complete contact information. A representative will thereafter call to make further arrangements and provide further instructions should the date appear open. No fax, e-mail or telephone requests are accepted. Letters are accepted six months to a year in advance of the group’s visit, but must be submitted at least 5 weeks in advance.

More than four million people visit the cemetery annually, many coming to pay final respects at graveside services, of which nearly 100 are conducted each week, Monday through Friday. A first stop on a trip to the cemetery should include the Visitors Center, located by the cemetery entrance, where maps, guidebooks, exhibits, information services (to include grave locations), a bookstore and restrooms can be found. Please note that the cemetery does not provide wheelchairs or strollers and if you require this service you will need to bring your own. Before your visit, take time to acquaint yourself with Arlington National Cemetery through links from their website: http://www.arlingtoncemetery.mil/index.htm Family and friends must provide their own transportation for funeral services at Arlington National Cemetery. Family and friends will be required to drive from the administration building or chapel to the grave site. Many people do not realize how many National Cemeteries there are. The United States has well over 100 National Cemeteries at this time and Arlington National Cemetery is one of only two national cemeteries the Department of the Army maintains.
