So last week...Tuesday I think it was maybe...the weather was nice and there were all sorts of leaves on the ground. Perfect opportunity to take the guinea pigs out and shoot some pictures. :)

Even though his pictures were taken in the fall, it was still plenty warm out to get a variety of nice shots. We literally hopped outside of school and took these pics during an off hour, but they still turned out pretty good. For not having much experience from being photographed, he was a pretty good model. :)

These two are probably among the last of my class of 2016 portraits. We had a quick and fun session and the pictures had an editorial like look to them. They were a lot of fun to work with :)

This past summer I got the opportunity to travel with my extended family to Wyoming/Montana and see Yellowstone. It was just beautiful! I'm just now getting to editing the photos, and I'm reexperiencing how pretty it was!

Hannah Gehring's senior pictures...take three! We had a third senior picture session because between her second shoot and the time for yearbook submission, she cut/dyed her hair, and got her ears pierced! It was so much fun though, and perfect weather!

During Katie's senior photoshoot we got to see some very pretty butterflies. They were quite friendly, and we were both kind of distracted by them and enjoyed taking pictures of them.

Katie, Appleton Career Academy class of 2016. This shoot was so much fun. We went to a butterfly garden on the outskirts of town and it was just us and the butterflies! Perfect for pictures as well. Katie, I'd just like to say that you are beautiful and are going to do awesome things with your life!

Tom, Appleton West High School class of 2016. I remember meeting Tom prior to my first day of Sophomore year on the school bus and him saying hi to everyone and introducing himself. He's such an outgoing, friendly, nice guy to be around. I think his true colors really showed in his pictures!

Kat, Renaissance School for the Arts class of 2016. I loved this photo shoot and bringing out Kat's personality. The lamb was a great prop and made for some super cute photos. I think I've known Kat since we were both freshman and we've had many classes together and she is just a sweet, caring person that I am very proud to know.

I don't get the chance to take senior pictures for males very often so this was a very fun and unique experience for both of us! The shots turned out really nice!

Appleton West High School class of 2016! We had an awesome senior shoot, and her little pup Hal got to come along to three different locations! We got a little lost on our way to High Cliff but we made it and got some awesome shots there in lake Winnebago!

Two years ago today (July 22nd, 2013) I purchased my first dSLR camera, who I refer to as George as he shares a birthday with Prince George. :)

I didn't know at the time that I was purchasing my springboard into photography. My obsession has grown so so so much and I've grown so much as an artist since then. Photography has driven me to tears, but it has also brought me to the Milwaukee Art Museum to see my work on display--probably one of the happiest moments of my life!

Anyone who says a piece of technology can't change your life for the better is wrong. Happy snapiversary, George! 💙

This little guy was super cute. I was a bit late on posting these (they were taken June 30th) because I went on vacation, so the little guy is a whole lot bigger now. It's amazing how fast babies grow!

My third (wow, that's a lot!) photoshoot with these two adorable kids. These two are a joy to take pictures of; they are adorable, spunky--and Alaina is quite the model (Issac is getting there, though)! It was a great day for photos, and overall a really fun photo session.
